wading through the New England winter with ulcerated toes and infected splinters washed in white, it slithers under the door spewing subconscious nonsense that i couldn't ignore so i gotta leave the East behind, and go out West in a deprived attempt to feel less dispossessed i need the landscapes to conquer my bitterness i need to be swallowed whole in my own wilderness it's 4 am and i'm feelin like a cosmic american every time i'm back, i just want to go there again to lay on the red dirt rocks of Arizona to talk to the cashiers in Oklahoma so i'm driving down the Navajo trail steady at 100 with no cops on my tail in awe of the mountains in the morning glow and the radiated depths of the canyons below and all the creatures lurking deep in the rivers drained from the sewers, eating lizards and livers i'm freaking out from the nuclear fission they said 'just go back home and God says you're forgiven' it's 4 am and i'm feelin like a cosmic american every time i'm back i just want to go there again to walk through the mountain towns of Colorado to drive within the erratic pulse of Chicago

i heard a story about a kid named johnny who tried to go but he never knew what would become of him long live the toilet nasties! (they'll pull you under) long live the toilet nasties! (they'll kill your mother) long live the toilet nasties! (pull you under) long live the toilet nasties! his stomach burned his intestines growled but he knew it meant death if he purged his bowels long live the toilet nasties! (they'll pull you under) long live the toilet nasties! (they'll kill your mother) long live the toilet nasties! (barely breathing) long live the toilet nasties!
